Sustainable Development Goals

AUDIENCE:

Engaging Learners Aged 18 and Older

CHALLENGE:

The urgent global issues of poverty, inequality, climate change, and environmental degradation called for an effective educational approach to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The challenge was to create an e-learning experience that conveyed essential information while promoting evaluation, reflection, and proactive engagement from learners.

ACTION:

To tackle this, I developed a sample e-learning course featuring an interactive dial interface. This dynamic tool allowed learners to quickly explore the 17 SDGs, providing concise summaries of each goal. Additionally, a "learn more" button offered deeper insights into three target goals, presenting detailed challenges and solutions. This design was intended to stimulate critical thinking and foster a sense of responsibility among participants.

SOLUTION:

The e-learning experience successfully inspired learners to take action toward the SDGs. The engaging format made complex information more accessible, encouraging participants to reflect and act within their communities. Overall, the course effectively turned educational content into a motivational platform, promoting a strong "call to action" for building a sustainable future.
