CHALLENGE:

Accurate blood pressure measurement is vital in healthcare, yet variations in technique among professionals revealed significant skill gaps. This inconsistency posed a risk to patient care and highlighted the need for standardized training that aligned with best practices.

ACTION:

To address this issue, working with stakeholders, I developed a comprehensive e-learning course focused on blood pressure measurement. The course covered essential topics, including physiological principles, measuring equipment, and techniques. It incorporated interactive elements to cater to diverse learning styles and included both assessment and non-assessment activities to reinforce knowledge.

SOLUTION: 

The elearning course successfully equips healthcare professionals with the skills necessary for accurate blood pressure measurement, enhancing their confidence and ensuring high-quality patient care. This initiative effectively bridges the skill gaps and promotes continuous professional development in the healthcare sector.
